Growing servant leaders.
We are a youth development non-profit in Spokane, WA that is activating today’s youth to live & lead with compassion.
Introducing our new Generation Alive Logo
The Sprout is a symbol of life, growth, and potential.
It reminds us that every young person carries something powerful inside, something that needs light, care, and encouragement to grow. Just like a sprout becomes a tree, students become leaders when they are seen, supported, and given the chance to step up. With the right people around them, they do not just grow. They thrive.
The veins running through the logo represent the life within our movement.
They symbolize the energy that flows through every part of Generation Alive—ideas shared, support offered, and compassion lived out. This steady flow sustains our mission of activating youth to live and lead with compassion. It is a reminder that leadership starts from the heart and that when we stay connected, we grow stronger together.
The letters G and A in our logo represent seed leaves.
They remind us that every person connected to Generation Alive plays a vital role. Just like seed leaves fuel a sprout’s early growth, the support, time, and passion of our community give young leaders what they need to rise. Together, we help students live and lead with compassion. That’s how the movement grows.

Every dollar goes towards growing a young leader.
Your support is a powerful reminder to every young leader in our programs that they are not alone. They are in a community of compassionate, visionary people (like you) that stands behind them.
Let’s show these young leaders that the world values their heart to serve and make a difference.
Generation Alive activates youth to live & lead with compassion.
In a world marked by anxiety, isolation, and rising division, we empower young people to live with compassion, lead with confidence, and serve their community.
Strategic Programs
-
Action Teams are groups of 10-20 students who work together to learn about community needs, the meaning of compassion, how to inspire their peers to serve their community with them, how to fundraise/advocate for causes they care about, and ultimately to lead projects that make a difference in the community.
-
Our annual Summer Day Camps are designed to offer students a fun and exciting opportunity to dive deep into the needs of their city. For 3-4 days, campers will volunteer at various local non-profits where they spend time working for each organization learning the work that goes into solving needs in their community.
-
High school age students who have the availability and desire to grow in their leadership will be invited to participate in our Student Leadership Action Team. This team will work together to plan city-wide service initiatives, participate in Generation Alive events, and receive active mentoring from the Generation Alive staff.
Like you, we care about the next generation.
We are a team of youth development experts with over 75 years of combined experience. We implement a proven model that is equipping youth to not only exist in the world, but to be the best FOR it.

“We began supporting GA after seeing firsthand the incredible work they are doing with youth in our community. As parents of adult children who are now parents themselves, we recognize the need to develop servant leaders amongst our youth.”

“It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”
