Darrin Duty

Program Director - Spokane Headquarters

Darrin Duty

Darrin is the Program Director, and has been the creative brain behind GA’s youth programs since 2011; devising program strategy and measuring effectiveness, working with and speaking to youth, and directing his team of staff, interns and volunteers.

Darrin has 25 years of experience working with youth as the Director of Spokane Youth for Christ Campus Life, as a Youth Pastor, and now with GA. He took a four-year hiatus from youth work (as a Regional Sales Manager representing Comcast and Time Warner for American Marketing and Cable Services) before returning to his true calling at Generation Alive. A graduate of Whitworth University, Darrin is a proud Spokanite and father of three sons.

Fun Fact: Darrin is a professional photographer and hot sauce enthusiast, once eating a pepper so hot that his eyes literally swelled shut.

Kelly Warren

Business and Events Manager - Spokane Headquarters

Kelly Warren

Kelly keeps a mindful eye on the budget, makes sure everyone gets paid, and manages the many details it takes to run a successful organization. Don’t be fooled by the “Finance” title; her responsibilities extend far beyond that and include a number of HR related items, as well as support of all things fundraising.

Prior to joining GA in 2012, Kelly worked as a provider contractor and agent in the insurance industry, and as a dental office manager. Having two teens herself, she knows firsthand how important an organization like GA is in positively influencing young people to be difference makers. Kelly and her husband, Steve, are proud parents of three children.

Fun Fact: Kelly’s guilty pleasures include popcorn on a rainy day and Hot Tamales candy…not to mention spending time with her 27 nieces and nephews!

Jenny Weddle

Development & Communications Manager

Jenny Weddle

Jenny has over 20 years experience serving with local nonprofit organizations, and currently wrangles GA's development and communications efforts. Depending on the day, she may be writing a grant, crafting the latest newsletter or working on graphic design.

Before coming to Generation Alive, Jenny spent many years working simultaneously for YMCA Camp Reed and the Union Gospel Mission Camp, completing her 20th summer of camp in 2019. She has a permanent Chaco tan, a true badge of camp service!

Married almost 25 years, Jenny and her husband, Ken, have three adult sons and two amazing daughters-in-law. In her spare time, she moonlights as a professional team builder and challenge course practitioner, dabbles with catering weddings and events, and has a hard time sitting still.

Fun facts: Jenny's favorite book is 'Jane Eyre' and she has a secret passion for jawbreakers.

Jonah Wilkinson

Program and Logistics Coordinator

Jonah Wilkinson

Jonah graduated from Eastern Washington University with a BA in Theater in 2020. His secret super power is that he can sing by heart any show tune ever written. Jonah grew up in the Spokane area and dreamed of pursuing a career on Broadway, however he made the seismic shift to focus his ambitions on the non-profit world. Following a year as a Generation Alive Intern Coordinator, he was promoted to Program and Logistics Coordinator, and now he occasionally gets to drive the GA truck, which means he has officially arrived in life.

Fun Fact: Jonah is a syrup snob. He chooses ONLY real maple syrup for his pancakes!

Cassandra graduated from Whitworth University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Before GA, she worked at Dutch Bros for almost three years to serve the community coffee and kindness. She was born and raised in Spokane, understanding the importance of empowering youth in our community. Her and her husband, Drew, are the proud parents to their fur babies, Paisley and Cooper.
